- Collaborate with third-party vendors to complete required steps for extracting data from multiple source systems
- Analyze legacy systems to understand data structures, relationships, and business rules
- Translate legacy data into target system formats, including field-level mappings, source to destination code mapping, default values, and conditional logic
- Communicateand collaborate with business owners and internal teams (including operations and trainers) to improve data quality and resolve data issues prior to conversion
- Lead and manage all data conversion–related meetings and calls, including pre-conversion data assessments, requirements discussions, data reviews, issue resolution, and status updates
- Work closely with the system vendor to identify, analyze, and resolve data discrepancies
- Validate migrated data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reconciliation with source systems
- Perform data testing and validation for each sample delivery, ensuring alignment with approved mapping documents and data change requests
- Provide post-migration support and assist with data-related issues following go-live
- Adhere to defined process timelines and milestones while managing data conversion activities across multiple concurrent projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in data migration or data analysis within the insurance industry
- Knowledge of insurance data domains, ACORD forms and insurance data standards
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
- Experience with Applied EPIC or similar insurance management systems
- Familiarity with insurance regulatory and compliance requirements
- High attention to detail
