Seeking a DLP Analyst to safeguard critical banking data, detect insider threats, and ensure regulatory compliance using DLP tools, SIEM platforms, and risk assessment methodologies in a fully remote role within Spain.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain Data Loss Prevention solutions to protect sensitive banking information across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments.
- Monitor and analyze SIEM alerts to identify insider threat activities, investigate incidents, and coordinate remediation actions.
- Conduct risk assessments and data classification exercises to align security controls with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, PSD2, and ISO 27001.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training and policies that reduce the likelihood of data leakage and insider misuse.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including IT, compliance, and audit—to integrate DLP controls into broader cybersecurity and governance frameworks.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Data Loss Prevention, insider threat detection, or related cybersecurity roles, preferably within the banking sector.
- Proficiency with DLP platforms (e.g., Symantec, McAfee, Forcepoint) and SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Elastic).
- Strong understanding of regulatory standards (GDPR, PSD2, ISO 27001) and ability to translate them into technical controls.
- Hands‑on experience performing incident response, root‑cause analysis, and remediation of data leakage events.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
