Software Engineer
Internship focused on designing and optimizing scalable data pipelines using Python, SQL, Databricks, and Delta Live Tables in a cloud‑native environment to support analytics and AI/ML initiatives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building and maintaining robust, scalable data pipelines that feed enterprise analytics and reporting solutions.
- Ingest, clean, and transform raw data using Databricks, Delta Live Tables, SQL, and Python scripts.
- Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to ensure data quality and availability for AI/ML models.
- Support the deployment and monitoring of data workflows in a cloud‑native environment.
- Document pipeline designs, data lineage, and best practices for future scalability.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Familiarity with Databricks or similar big‑data platforms and concepts such as Delta Live Tables.
- Understanding of cloud‑native principles and experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced team.
