SUMMARY
The primary role of the Data Integrity Specialist is analyzing all documentation to ensure it meets the requirements to enter authorizations and rates into the billing system(s). This person is also responsible for entering the individual’s eligibility information into the system and for communicating with others on any issues preventing a transaction from being entered.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below:
- Utilizes document management software to prioritize and process transactions daily.
- Utilizes AR software application to process Masterfile transactions; financial eligibility, authorization and rates.
- Obtains and maintains supporting documentation for all transactions.
- Performs data entry tasks for all financial eligibility, authorization, rates in a timely manner.
- Reviews, escalates, and resolves any source documentation discrepancies to meet documentation requirements.
- Works with state office and other key AR staff to resolve outstanding transactions.
- Assists with the resolution of any issues that could impact billing or any month-end closing deadlines.
- Ensures internal control compliance with all assigned areas and other audit requirements
- Assists in the onboarding of new hires and provide training and technical assistance to assigned worker(s) as needed.
- Embraces concept mentoring by actively participating in team meetings and fostering an environment in which team members proactively collaborate with one another
- Proactively supports management as well as the objectives and goals of the department
- Supports special projects, mission critical initiatives and performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
- Performs system testing

Minimum Knowledge and Skills required by the Job The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in a Finance related field preferred
- Quality Assurance background preferred

- Must be self-motivated and detail oriented
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must be highly organized with ability to multi-task
- Must have analytical skills and the ability to collect information from different sources
- Effectively use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
