Software Engineer
Lead technical analysis of avionics software and data systems, ensuring integrity and performance for Navy and allied platforms using Python, MATLAB, and SQL to support certification and engineering assessments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent technical analysis of avionics software behavior, data integrity, and system performance across Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and FMS platforms.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts in Python and MATLAB to validate software and data quality.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, test reports, and certification evidence for regulatory and customer review.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to define verification plans and resolve integration issues.
- Analyze large datasets using SQL and statistical methods to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in avionics software verification, data integrity, or systems engineering.
