Implementation Engineer
Design, develop, and support robust data integration solutions using Infosphere DataStage, SQL, and Unix scripting to ensure system resiliency, stability, and maintainability.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable ETL pipelines with Infosphere DataStage or equivalent tools.
- Develop, test, and maintain SQL scripts and database objects across relational database platforms.
- Create and maintain Unix shell scripts for data movement, automation, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with business sponsors and application developers to translate requirements into efficient data integration solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration workflows to ensure high availability and performance.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Infosphere DataStage or comparable ETL platforms.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Experience writing and maintaining Unix/Linux shell scripts for data processing tasks.
- Ability to work quickly in an agile environment, delivering rapid prototypes and refinements.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and effective communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
