Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data governance frameworks, ensuring data classification, protection, security, and responsible sharing across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive data governance strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Define and enforce data classification standards, ensuring proper handling of sensitive and critical information.
- Implement data protection and security controls, overseeing risk assessments and remediation activities.
- Establish data sharing policies and processes that balance accessibility with compliance and privacy considerations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including IT, legal, and business units—to embed governance practices into data pipelines and analytics workflows.
- Monitor governance metrics, produce reports for senior leadership, and continuously improve policies based on emerging threats and regulations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of data classification frameworks, data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and security best practices.
- Proven ability to design and implement governance policies and drive organization‑wide adoption.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leadership.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CDMP, CIPP, CISSP) are a plus.
