Data Governance Change Lead - Ageas

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data governance frameworks that align with migration and change initiatives, ensuring data remains structured, governed, and reusable.
• Collaborate with data architects, stewards, and business stakeholders to define data quality standards, metadata policies, and data lineage documentation.
• Lead change management activities, including training, communication, and adoption strategies to embed governance practices across the organization.
• Monitor and report on data quality metrics, identifying gaps and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert on data governance tools and best practices, providing guidance to cross‑functional teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data governance, data quality, and metadata management within a large enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of data architecture principles and data migration processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation) and data quality platforms.
• Change management certification or demonstrated experience leading organizational change initiatives is a plus.
