Data Governance & Quality Analyst - General Dynamics Information Technology

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain data governance frameworks and data quality standards across enterprise data assets.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with data stewards, architects, and business stakeholders to define data lineage, metadata, and cataloging processes.
• Develop and maintain automated data quality monitoring scripts using SQL and Python, and generate actionable insights for data owners.
• Document data definitions, policies, and procedures, and provide training and support to end‑users on data governance best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, or related data management roles.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and automation.
• Hands‑on experience with metadata management and data catalog tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation).
• Strong understanding of data lineage, data profiling, and data quality metrics.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
