About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and operationalize data governance policies, standards, and processes for customer data across analytics platforms.
- Design and maintain data quality frameworks, including monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
- Manage metadata and data catalog solutions to ensure accurate data definitions, ownership, and discoverability.
- Establish data lineage documentation to trace data flow from source to consumption, supporting impact analysis and compliance.
- Implement consent and privacy controls in line with regulatory requirements, collaborating with legal and security teams.
- Partner with data owners, engineers, and analysts to embed governance practices into daily data workflows.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in data governance, data quality, or metadata management within an enterprise environment.
- Proficiency with data catalog tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation) and data lineage solutions.
- Strong understanding of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and consent management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Experience with SQL or data modeling concepts to support governance implementations.
