Software Engineer
Analyze and maintain eligibility data flows between health plans and employer systems, using SQL and ETL tools to ensure accurate, timely exchange of member information and support platform scalability.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines that extract, transform, and load eligibility data from multiple sources into the Enterprise Health Platform.
- Validate data quality and integrity by applying healthcare eligibility rules and performing root‑cause analysis on discrepancies.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and client teams to define data requirements, map data models, and support integration projects.
- Monitor data exchange performance, create dashboards, and generate regular reports for stakeholders.
- Document data flows, transformation logic, and standard operating procedures to support ongoing governance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis or data engineering, preferably in the health‑care or benefits domain.
- Proficiency with SQL and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory).
- Strong understanding of eligibility concepts, claim administration workflows, and related data standards.
- Experience building data models and mapping complex data relationships.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate technical details to non‑technical audiences.
