Data Engineer
Experienced Data Engineer needed to design, build, and maintain cloud‑based data warehouses using Snowflake, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, or AWS Redshift, applying DataVault and Kimball methodologies and strong SQL expertise.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimise scalable data warehouse solutions on Snowflake, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, or AWS Redshift.
- Implement DataVault and Kimball modelling techniques to support robust, maintainable data architectures.
- Write, tune, and maintain complex SQL queries and ETL pipelines for high‑volume data ingestion and transformation.
- Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and engineering teams to ensure data availability, quality, and performance.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline issues, ensuring reliability and compliance with SLAs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer in a cloud‑focused environment.
- Hands‑on expertise with at least one major cloud data platform (Snowflake, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, or AWS Redshift).
- Deep understanding of DataVault and Kimball data‑warehousing methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and data‑querying languages.
