Senior Data Engineer building scalable, reliable ETL/ELT pipelines on GCP, orchestrating workflows with Cloud Composer, optimizing BigQuery assets, and leveraging Dataflow, DataProc, Cloud Functions, and Vertex AI for advanced data solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines using GCP services such as Dataflow, DataProc, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run.
- Orchestrate complex workflows with Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow) and DataForm, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
- Build and optimize BigQuery data models, writing efficient SQL for data transformation and analytics.
- Integrate Vertex AI for machine learning model deployment and inference within data pipelines.
- Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in data engineering on cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
