About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows to ingest and transform large data sets.
- Build and support robust RESTful APIs using Node.js to serve data to internal and external consumers.
- Create responsive, data‑driven web applications and dashboards with React.js.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and other engineers to define data requirements and ensure data quality.
- Optimize performance of data processing jobs and front‑end components, implementing best practices for monitoring and error handling.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering, including pipeline design and ETL/ELT implementation.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React.js for back‑end and front‑end development.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data warehousing concepts.
- Hands‑on experience with data integration tools or frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, Kafka, Spark) and cloud platforms.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally, communicate technical concepts clearly, and deliver production‑ready solutions.
