about the company We are looking for a high-caliber Data Engineer to join our data engineering team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing scalable data infrastructure, optimizing high-volume pipelines, and working alongside data platforms and analytics teams to turn raw data into high-value assets. about the job

• Build reliable pipelines to collect, clean, and ingest structured and unstructured data across diverse sources into our modern data warehouse.
• Design robust data warehouse models and develop end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines. Maintain critical data jobs to ensure delivery and operational reliability.
• Deep dive into high-latency or failing data jobs, perform root-cause analysis, and apply advanced optimization techniques to minimize execution time and resource utilization.
• Partner closely with data analysts, business users, and platform engineers to normalize business requirements, standardise workflows, and co-develop core platform engine features.
• Organize scripts, data assets, and technical documentation in strict accordance with corporate governance policies and data compliance frameworks.

skills and experience required Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related technical discipline from a reputable institution (a strong academic track record is highly regarded).

Proficiency in at least one object-oriented or functional language, such as Python, Scala, or Java.

Practical exposure or hands-on experience with modern big data technologies, including PySpark, Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Apache Flink.
