Data Engineer
Data Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and warehouses using Python, SQL, Airflow, and cloud services such as AWS and Snowflake.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines to ingest and transform large volumes of aerospace data.
- Build and optimize data models and warehouses on Snowflake to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Implement workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow, ensuring reliable scheduling and monitoring of data jobs.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams to define data requirements and deliver high‑quality data solutions.
- Apply best practices for data quality, security, and performance in a cloud environment (AWS).
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience as a Data Engineer with strong Python and SQL programming skills.
- Proficiency in building ETL processes and data pipelines using tools such as Apache Airflow.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and data warehousing solutions, preferably Snowflake.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning.
- Ability to work in a hybrid team environment and communicate technical concepts effectively.
