Data Engineer responsible for data profiling, building robust pipelines, and delivering analytics solutions within a Scrum team, leveraging Python, SQL, and cloud data platforms to support regulatory processes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate in a high‑performing Scrum team to execute BAU activities and roadmap milestones for data science and analytics initiatives.
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines and data models that enable reliable data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
- Perform data profiling and exploratory analysis to uncover insights and support regulatory decision‑making.
- Implement and manage cloud‑based data solutions on AWS and Snowflake, ensuring scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable intelligence.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Hands‑on experience building ETL processes and data models in cloud environments (AWS, Snowflake).
- Solid understanding of data governance, profiling, and analytics best practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and delivering data‑centric projects.
- Excellent judgment and communication skills for interpreting business needs and presenting technical solutions.
