Job Overview
We are hiring a skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL Server, SSIS, and VisualCron to manage and optimize enterprise data pipelines. This role involves building event-driven workflows, automation, and robust ETL systems to support mission-critical data operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage advanced workflows using VisualCron (API triggers, cloud tasks, .NET scripting)
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server and SSIS
- Perform T-SQL performance tuning , indexing, and stored procedure optimization
- Implement automated monitoring, error handling, and alerting mechanisms
- Manage secure data transfers (SFTP workflows) and integrations
- Ensure high availability and resilience of 24/7 data pipeline operations
- Collaborate with teams for data modeling and warehouse design improvements
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering / Database Development
- Strong expertise in MS SQL Server and advanced T-SQL
- Hands-on experience with SSIS, ETL pipelines, and package development
- Experience with VisualCron (event-driven workflows, external integrations)
- Solid understanding of relational database design and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with source control (Bitbucket) and deployment processes
