Data Engineer
Lead data engineering initiatives using Microsoft Fabric, designing scalable pipelines, optimizing data models, and delivering insights with Power BI and Azure services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines within Microsoft Fabric, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Implement data modeling best practices, creating efficient schemas for analytical workloads.
- Collaborate with analytics and business teams to translate requirements into robust data solutions.
- Leverage Azure services (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake) to orchestrate end‑to‑end data workflows.
- Optimize SQL queries and Python scripts for large‑scale data processing.
- Integrate Power BI dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and timely refreshes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a data engineer, preferably with Microsoft Fabric and Azure ecosystem.
- Strong SQL and Python skills for data manipulation and automation.
- Hands‑on experience with Power BI and data visualization best practices.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud data architecture.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
