About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ingestion pipelines that move data from source systems to the enterprise data platform in near real time.
- Implement and manage ETL/ELT workflows using Airflow (or similar orchestration tools) to ensure data quality, reliability, and observability.
- Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and product teams to translate business requirements into robust data models and schemas in Snowflake.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and platform performance on AWS, applying best practices for security and cost efficiency.
- Support data conversion projects and migration initiatives, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to downstream consumers.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience building data pipelines and data platforms, preferably in a cloud environment (AWS).
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data transformation, scripting, and automation.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, and with modern data warehouses like Snowflake or Redshift.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, and best practices for data governance and security.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally, communicate technical concepts clearly, and drive projects from concept to production.
