Data Engineer II responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines across Linux and Windows environments, leveraging Airflow, SSIS, and SQL to deliver high‑quality data for business insights.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines using Airflow and SSIS to ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources.
- Administer and troubleshoot data platform components on Linux and Windows servers, including patching, upgrading, and performance tuning.
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring solutions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data assets.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver actionable data solutions.
- Document data workflows, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures for knowledge sharing and compliance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering with hands‑on expertise in Airflow, SSIS, and SQL.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and familiarity with Linux/Windows administration.
- Proven ability to design scalable data pipelines and troubleshoot complex data issues.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
