Data Engineer
Entry‑level Data Engineer responsible for building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, integrating threat intelligence feeds, and supporting analytics on cloud platforms using Python, SQL, and modern data orchestration tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and store large volumes of threat intelligence data.
- Implement data models and schemas in cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) to support analytics and reporting.
- Automate workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow, ensuring reliable scheduling and monitoring of data jobs.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to understand data requirements and deliver clean, well‑documented datasets.
- Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for cost and scalability on AWS.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in Python for data processing and scripting.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases and cloud data warehouses.
- Hands‑on experience with ETL concepts and tools; familiarity with Apache Airflow is a plus.
- Knowledge of AWS services (e.g., S3, Redshift/Snowflake, Lambda) and best practices for cloud data engineering.
