We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer II to join our Home Health Data Engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of cloud-based data solutions that support business intelligence, analytics, and operational reporting initiatives. You will work closely with senior engineers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to build reliable and scalable data pipelines while developing your expertise in modern cloud data platforms. This position is ideal for an engineer who is passionate about data, eager to learn emerging technologies, and interested in growing their skills in Snowflake, Azure, and modern data engineering practices.

What You Will Be Doing

Develop and maintain data pipelines and integrations that support data ingestion, transformation, and delivery across enterprise data platforms. Build and support Snowflake-based solutions , including loading, transforming, and validating data from multiple source systems. Assist in developing cloud-native data workflows using Azure services , including Databricks, Storage, and related technologies. Contribute to data migration initiatives from on-premises systems to cloud-based platforms, helping modernize data processes and architecture. Create and maintain ETL/ELT processes that ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability for downstream consumers. Develop and support API-based integrations , including MuleSoft integrations, to enable secure and reliable data exchange between systems. Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues , working with senior engineers to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions. Participate in code reviews and testing activities , ensuring solutions adhere to established engineering standards and best practices. Support data quality, governance, and security initiatives , ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. Document technical solutions, processes, and operational procedures to support maintainability and knowledge sharing. Continuously learn and adopt new technologies and engineering practices to improve platform capabilities and team effectiveness.
