About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on GCP, leveraging BigQuery for high‑performance analytics.
- Collaborate with business, analytics, and Martech stakeholders to translate requirements into efficient data models and schema designs.
- Optimize ETL processes, ensuring data quality, consistency, and timely availability for downstream activation and insights.
- Implement data governance practices, including metadata management, lineage tracking, and access controls.
- Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve throughput and reliability.
Requirements
- Proven experience with GCP services, especially BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data modeling concepts (star, snowflake).
- Hands‑on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as dbt, Airflow, or Dataflow.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with analytics and marketing teams.
