Data Engineer
Data Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and warehouses using Python, SQL, and AWS services to support analytics and machine learning initiatives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and load large volumes of structured and unstructured data into cloud data warehouses.
- Implement data modeling best practices, ensuring high data quality, consistency, and accessibility for downstream analytics and BI teams.
- Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to understand data requirements and deliver reliable data assets for predictive modeling and reporting.
- Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement automated alerts and monitoring solutions.
- Maintain and evolve data infrastructure on AWS (Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda) and ensure compliance with security and governance policies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with ETL frameworks (Airflow, dbt).
- Hands‑on experience with AWS data services (Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and performance tuning.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
