Data Engineer
Join a digital health team as a Data Engineer, designing and optimizing databases, building ETL pipelines, and delivering BI solutions using SQL, Python, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models and relational databases for health‑care analytics.
- Build, test, and monitor robust ETL pipelines using Python and Azure Data Factory to ingest and transform large data sets.
- Collaborate with data scientists and domain experts to define data requirements and ensure data quality.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI that support clinical and operational decision‑making.
- Optimize query performance and implement best practices for data security and compliance.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database design.
- Hands‑on experience with Python for data processing and automation.
- Proven track record building ETL workflows, preferably with Azure Data Factory or similar tools.
- Experience delivering BI solutions using Power BI or comparable visualization platforms.
- Understanding of data governance, privacy regulations, and best practices in the health‑care sector.
