Data Engineer
Data Engineer role focused on designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and warehouses using Python, SQL, Snowflake, and AWS within a collaborative analytics technology team.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines to ingest and transform data from multiple sources.
- Build and optimize data models and warehouse structures in Snowflake to support analytics and reporting.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver reliable solutions.
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and performance tuning to ensure pipeline reliability.
- Leverage AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue) for scalable data processing and storage.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and automation.
- Hands‑on experience with ETL tools and frameworks, and building pipelines in cloud environments.
- Expertise in Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse platforms.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and Glue.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and best practices for data quality.
