Data Engineer
Data Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and warehouses using Python, SQL, AWS, Snowflake, and Airflow to support analytics for senior care operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines to ingest and transform data from multiple healthcare sources.
- Build and optimize data models and warehouses on Snowflake to enable self‑service analytics.
- Implement workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow, ensuring reliable scheduling and monitoring.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to understand data requirements and deliver high‑quality datasets.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with HIPAA standards throughout the data lifecycle.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in data engineering, preferably in healthcare or related regulated industries.
- Proficiency in Python for data processing and scripting.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases and data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake.
- Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS (S3, Redshift, Lambda, etc.).
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow and CI/CD pipelines.
