Data Engineer responsible for building and maintaining a robust BI platform, designing ETL pipelines, and ensuring high-quality data models for analytics and reporting.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load data into the BI platform.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to define data models and reporting requirements.
- Optimize database performance, implement indexing, partitioning, and query tuning for large datasets.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity through automated validation and monitoring.
- Document data architecture, pipeline workflows, and best practices for future maintenance.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Python and SQL in a data engineering context.
- Strong background in ETL design and implementation, preferably with modern tools.
- Hands‑on knowledge of data warehousing concepts and BI tools.
- Experience with data modeling, dimensional design, and performance tuning.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
