Data Engineer
Lead data engineering initiatives, partnering with business units to design scalable data pipelines and solutions using Python, SQL, AWS, and Spark. Drive data quality, governance, and analytics enablement across the organization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes to support business analytics and reporting.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data models and architecture solutions.
- Implement and optimize data storage solutions on AWS, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Leverage Spark and other big‑data technologies to process large datasets efficiently.
- Establish data governance practices, including metadata management, data quality checks, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a data engineer with strong Python and SQL skills.
- Hands‑on expertise with AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR) and big‑data frameworks such as Spark.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL design, and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent communication skills to act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience in a fast‑paced, enterprise environment is a plus.
