Data Engineer
Design and build a scalable People Data Hub, creating reliable HR data pipelines, models, and visualizations using Python, SQL, Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow to enable trusted analytics and compliance reporting.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain the People Data Hub, ensuring high‑quality, secure, and scalable HR data pipelines.
- Design and implement ETL/ELT workflows using Python, SQL, dbt, and Airflow to ingest data from HRIS, payroll, and other sources.
- Build and optimize data models in Snowflake to support self‑service reporting, dashboards, and advanced analytics.
- Collaborate with People Analytics, HR, and compliance teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain interactive visualizations and dashboards in Tableau for stakeholders across the organization.
- Implement data governance, lineage, and quality monitoring to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer, preferably in HR or People Analytics.
- Proficiency in Python and advanced SQL for data transformation and analysis.
- Hands‑on experience with Snowflake (or other cloud data warehouses) and dbt for data modeling.
- Strong knowledge of workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
- Experience building Tableau dashboards and a solid understanding of data visualization best practices.
