Consultant who transforms complex data into well‑governed, consumable information, designing data models, building pipelines, and supporting enterprise decision‑making using SQL, ETL tools, and cloud data services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement logical and physical data models that align with business objectives and enterprise standards.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines to ingest, cleanse, and integrate data from multiple source systems.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance across the organization.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Leverage cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) to build and manage data warehouses and data lakes.
- Provide documentation, metadata management, and training to promote data literacy and self‑service analytics.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data design, modeling, and warehousing.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, dbt).
- Hands‑on experience with cloud data services such as Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, or Azure Synapse.
- Demonstrated knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
