Lead the design, development, and delivery of supply‑chain data pipelines using Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake) while ensuring data quality, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines that ingest, transform, and deliver supply‑chain data across the enterprise.
- Collaborate with supply‑chain analysts, product owners, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Implement robust ETL processes using Python, SQL, and cloud services (AWS Glue, Lambda, Snowflake) ensuring high data quality and performance.
- Define and enforce data modeling standards, data governance, and documentation to support downstream analytics and reporting.
- Mentor junior data engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in CI/CD, testing, and monitoring.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and delivering data pipelines in a supply‑chain or logistics environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud data platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar).
- Hands‑on experience with ETL/ELT tools, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive projects to completion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
