About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, classify, and secure unstructured data across enterprise repositories using Microsoft Purview, GitVisibility, and Symantec DLP.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data sensitivity categories and develop handling policies.
- Implement and monitor data protection controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal security standards.
- Conduct data discovery and risk assessments, producing actionable insights for data owners.
- Provide training and guidance to teams on classification best practices and tool usage.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Microsoft Purview, GitVisibility, and Symantec DLP in a data classification context.
- Strong security background with knowledge of data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English, able to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Hands‑on experience in unstructured data environments and data governance frameworks.
- Problem‑solving mindset and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
