Software Engineer
Data Centre Engineer responsible for designing, building, deploying and optimising end‑to‑end connectivity solutions, including structured cabling and managed services, to ensure reliable, high‑performance infrastructure for enterprise clients.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, install and maintain structured cabling and fibre optic infrastructure across data centre sites.
- Collaborate with network teams to integrate connectivity solutions with existing and emerging technologies.
- Deploy and optimise managed services, ensuring high availability and performance for client environments.
- Conduct site assessments, capacity planning and performance testing to support scalability and reliability.
- Document designs, configurations and troubleshooting procedures for future reference.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data centre engineering, structured cabling and network infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of fibre optic technologies, patch panels, cable management and compliance standards.
- Hands‑on ability to deploy and troubleshoot managed services and connectivity solutions.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment.
