About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy and maintain virtualised environments on VMware, Azure and AWS to meet customer SLAs.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data‑centre hardware, networking (Cisco) and operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) to guarantee continuous service.
- Develop and test business continuity and disaster‑recovery plans, performing regular fail‑over exercises.
- Implement security hardening, patch management and configuration control across all platforms.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise capacity, performance and cost efficiency of cloud resources.
Requirements
- Proven experience with VMware virtualization and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux system administration.
- Hands‑on experience with Cisco networking equipment and routing protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to design, test and maintain business continuity and disaster‑recovery solutions.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, on‑site data‑centre environment.
