Software Engineer
Design and integrate high‑efficiency cooling architectures for high‑density data centers, leveraging liquid cooling, CFD analysis, and HVAC expertise to support AI/ML and HPC workloads.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate thermal designs for data center cooling solutions, including coolant distribution units, dry coolers, and fan array systems.
- Perform CFD and airflow analyses to optimize liquid and air cooling performance for high‑density workloads.
- Collaborate with suppliers and cross‑functional engineering teams to integrate cooling components into scalable, reliable architectures.
- Create detailed thermal models, specifications, and test plans to ensure compliance with performance and reliability targets.
- Support field deployments, troubleshoot thermal issues, and provide technical guidance during installation and commissioning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data center thermal design, liquid cooling systems, or HVAC engineering.
- Proficiency with CFD tools (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, CFD‑X) and thermal analysis software.
- Strong understanding of coolant distribution, dry cooler, and fan array technologies.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work with external vendors and internal teams.
