Lead end‑to‑end data center solution design, advising sales and technical teams on best‑practice architectures, cloud integration, and security, while ensuring alignment with industry standards and customer requirements.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to sales and engineering teams, translating customer needs into robust data center solutions.
- Design and document scalable, secure, and cost‑effective architectures that integrate on‑prem, hybrid, and cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Communications, Security, Electrical, Utility) to align solutions with business goals and industry standards.
- Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle, including pre‑sales demos, proof‑of‑concepts, and post‑sale implementation guidance.
- Develop and maintain solution templates, best‑practice guides, and technical playbooks for internal use.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data center architecture, cloud integration, and enterprise networking.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V).
- Proficiency in security principles, compliance frameworks, and network design.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Hands‑on experience with data center infrastructure management (DCIM) tools and automation frameworks.
