Software Engineer
Lead a data‑center shift, overseeing planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and coordinating with engineering and client teams to maintain optimal facility performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all shift activities for planned and reactive maintenance within the data centre.
- Monitor work execution to ensure adherence to site policies, procedures, and health & safety legislation.
- Act as the primary liaison between engineering management, client personnel, and on‑site technicians.
- Allocate resources, track progress, and report shift performance metrics to senior management.
- Identify and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain service level agreements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data centre or critical facilities operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance processes and health & safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead a team in a fast‑paced, 24/7 environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., BICSI, OSHA, Facility Management) are a plus.
