Software Engineer
Lead end‑to‑end delivery of AI‑focused data center projects, coordinating cross‑functional teams, vendors, and infrastructure design while ensuring timelines, budgets, and performance standards are met.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and close data center build‑out and upgrade projects supporting AI workloads, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and business goals.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including network, electrical, mechanical, and software engineers—to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee third‑party deliverables to maintain quality and compliance.
- Implement Agile project management practices, track milestones, and provide transparent status reporting to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to capacity, power, cooling, and security, applying corrective actions proactively.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing data center or large‑scale infrastructure projects, preferably in AI or high‑performance computing environments.
- Proven expertise in project management methodologies (PMP, Scrum, or equivalent) and tools such as MS Project or Jira.
- Strong technical background in network engineering, power distribution, cooling systems, and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of successful vendor negotiations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; PMP or similar certification is a plus.
