Lead the design and execution of power system tests for high‑density data centers, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards using advanced electrical and power distribution technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and execute comprehensive power testing programs for data center infrastructure, covering AC/DC conversion, UPS, and PDU systems.
- Develop test plans, procedures, and metrics to validate power quality, redundancy, and fault tolerance.
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software teams to integrate test results into design improvements.
- Analyze test data, generate detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Stay current with industry standards (IEEE, IEC, ANSI) and emerging technologies in data center power.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data center power testing or related electrical testing environments.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with reliability engineering and failure mode analysis is a plus.
