About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the physical security technology roadmap for a worldwide data‑center portfolio.
- Design, specify, and deploy access‑control, video‑surveillance, and intrusion‑detection systems that integrate with network and monitoring platforms.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, hardware operations, and regional teams to ensure security solutions scale with expanding compute capacity.
- Develop security policies, standards, and procedures, and lead incident response for physical security events.
- Evaluate emerging security technologies, conduct risk assessments, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and managing physical security systems in large‑scale data‑center environments.
- Deep knowledge of access‑control platforms (e.g., badge readers, biometric systems), CCTV, and intrusion‑detection technologies.
- Strong understanding of network integration, VLANs, and secure communication protocols for security devices.
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, and compliance teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, CISSP) or equivalent hands‑on experience.
