About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a cross‑functional team responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of AWS data center hardware and network components.
- Develop and execute strategies for hardware diagnostics, fault isolation, and physical repair to ensure maximum uptime.
- Lead on‑call rotations, providing rapid incident response and root‑cause analysis for critical infrastructure events.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with AWS Infrastructure Services to design, plan, and deliver scalable data center solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing technical teams in a data center or cloud infrastructure environment.
- Deep understanding of AWS services, cloud architecture, and data center operations.
- Strong background in hardware and network diagnostics, with a track record of implementing effective repair processes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across all levels.
- Willingness to participate in on‑call rotations and work flexible hours as needed.
