Lead and optimize data center operations, ensuring high availability, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance while managing teams, vendors, and capital projects across a global portfolio.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations of multiple data centers, ensuring 99.99% uptime and adherence to industry standards.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for capacity, power, cooling, and network infrastructure upgrades.
- Lead cross‑functional teams, including facilities, IT, security, and maintenance, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, service level agreements, and performance metrics.
- Implement and maintain compliance frameworks (ISO, PCI, HIPAA) and audit readiness.
- Analyze operational data to drive continuous improvement and cost optimization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in data center operations or facilities management.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, power and cooling systems, and network design.
- Proven project management skills with PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost‑control initiatives.
