About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and integration of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for large‑scale data center projects.
- Collaborate with global sales and engineering teams to develop customized solutions that meet performance, reliability, and cost targets.
- Develop and validate control strategies, power electronics interfaces, and software models using MATLAB/Simulink and Python.
- Oversee system sizing, performance simulation, and commissioning activities to ensure seamless deployment.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to cross‑functional teams, fostering best practices in energy storage design.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in BESS or large‑scale energy storage system design and deployment.
- Deep knowledge of power electronics, battery management systems, and control theory.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, and data analysis tools.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a global, multidisciplinary environment.
