About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines that ingest, transform, and store legal and compliance data across multiple sources.
- Implement ETL processes using Python and SQL, ensuring data quality, consistency, and performance at scale.
- Collaborate with data scientists to build and deploy machine learning models that support risk assessment, compliance monitoring, and automated reporting.
- Leverage AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda) to build a cloud‑native data platform that meets regulatory standards.
- Optimize data models and query performance to enable real‑time analytics for law firm partners.
- Document architecture, data flows, and best practices for internal teams and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related role, preferably in regulated industries.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS data services.
- Hands‑on experience with ETL tools, data modeling, and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
