Data Analyst
Data Business Analyst delivering data transformation initiatives, building analytical solutions and visualisations, and translating business requirements into actionable data models using SQL, Python and Tableau.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse and document data requirements for trade finance and related products.
- Design, develop and maintain robust data models and ETL processes to support reporting and analytics.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualisations in Tableau to enable data‑driven decision making.
- Write complex SQL queries and Python scripts for data extraction, transformation and validation.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for data‑related issues, ensuring data quality and integrity.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst in a financial services environment.
- Strong SQL proficiency and hands‑on experience with data modelling concepts.
- Ability to develop visualisations and dashboards using Tableau (or similar BI tools).
- Practical knowledge of Python for data manipulation and automation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
