About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data architectures on Snowflake and Databricks, ensuring high performance and cost efficiency.
- Lead data modeling initiatives, creating logical and physical schemas that support analytics, reporting, and machine learning workloads.
- Architect and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, leveraging SQL, Python, and Spark to ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources.
- Collaborate with data engineering, data science, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data solutions.
- Establish governance, security, and compliance frameworks for data assets across cloud environments.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and engineers, fostering best practices in data design and cloud operations.
Requirements
- 16+ years of experience in data architecture, with deep expertise in Snowflake and Databricks.
- Proven track record of designing enterprise-scale data platforms and complex ETL/ELT workflows.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark for data transformation and analytics.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data governance practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
