Software Engineer
Lead enterprise data architecture initiatives, designing scalable data models and pipelines across cloud platforms, leveraging SQL, NoSQL, ETL, and Big Data technologies to enable data-driven decision making.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-wide data architecture solutions that support analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives.
- Develop scalable data models and schemas for relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Architect and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using modern tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt) to ingest, transform, and load data into cloud data warehouses.
- Collaborate with data engineering, data science, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging data technologies, providing guidance on best practices for performance, security, and governance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture or senior data engineering roles.
- Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, and cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Hands‑on experience with ETL/ELT tools, data modeling, and big data frameworks (Spark, Hadoop).
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with orchestration tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
