Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data solutions, leveraging SQL, NoSQL, ETL pipelines, and AWS cloud services to deliver scalable, secure data architectures that empower federal customers.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain robust data models and schemas across relational and NoSQL databases to support mission‑critical applications.
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines using Python and cloud services to ingest, transform, and load large volumes of data.
- Collaborate with data scientists, developers, and security teams to ensure data integrity, compliance, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Implement data governance frameworks, including metadata management, lineage tracking, and access controls.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging data technologies and cloud services to enhance performance and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture and enterprise data platform design.
- Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra), and cloud data services (AWS Redshift, S3, Glue).
- Strong programming skills in Python for data processing and automation.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration patterns.
- Knowledge of data security, privacy regulations, and compliance standards for federal environments.
